Identity federation with NetApp Cloud Central

Identity federation enables you to manage access to your hybrid cloud resources centrally. With identity federation, you can use single sign-on to access your NetApp Cloud Central accounts using credentials from your corporate directory. Identity federation uses open standards, such as Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0 (SAML) and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

Currently, we support identity federation with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).

Before you get started, ensure that the email address that you used to sign into Cloud Central matches the email from your corporate directory. If the email addresses don't match, then we can't sync your Cloud Central user account with your corporate user account. Note that group email addresses aren’t supported.
